Q: Can we view a wedding DVD sample?

A: We would love to give you a preview of our work. If you arrange a meeting with us we would gladly show you our work and answer any questions you might have.

Q: How long after the wedding before I get my video?

A: Because we believe in extensive editing and processing of the footage we do take up to between four and six weeks to get the video out.

Q: Is sound important?

A: Yes, and can even be more important than the picture. If the DVD’s sound is not clear and professionally mixed on your DVD, it will irritate you to watch it without really knowing why! Thus if you go and look at some of the videographers wedding DVDs, listen to it too – ask for scenes of the speeches and ceremony. Make a mental note of the sound level. Are they the same at all times, is the location sound correctly mixed with the background music?

Q: Why are identical cameras important in a multi camera shoot?

A: It is crucial to use identical broadcast quality cameras for a multi camera edit. This allows for a smooth transition and consistent quality between shots.

Q:Why do I need a professional videographer?

A: Many have commented that they have an uncle or cousin with a video camera. What makes a professional a professional?.. Our camera men have an understanding of lighting and composition, combined with over a decade of experience we know precisely where to be when. Naturally we avoid amateur mistakes such as backlighting, blinding lens flares, bad cropping due to bad angles, shaky movement and grainy footage to name but a few. Sound is crucial. We have the technical knowledge and ability to record the sound with a presence and clarity from a variety of professional sources. Wedding videography is a craft we have perfected over a number of years, it requires practise and intensive studying of your equipment and least of all passion and commitment to excel and provides a masterful product both technically and creatively.

Q: Will you be unobtrusive when filming our wedding?

A: Absolutely! The last thing you want during your wedding day is constantly having a video camera in your face. Also filming you and your guests in a discreet manner leads to more natural shots that truly capture the essence of your wedding day. We can confidently say that after most weddings we've filmed the couples have commented that they hardly noticed us throughout the day.

Q: What editing software do you use?

A: We use a combination of Final Cut Pro, Premier Pro, After Effects, & Photoshop to adjust coloration and turn the video into a film. We typically spend over 100 hours editing each wedding video. (As any professional will tell you, it's one thing to have the software but it's another matter entirely to be able to utilize it. Our professional editors are trained, proficient and highly skilled.)

Q: Do you have backup equipment?

A: Yes. You are welcome to ask us to show you our detailed and comprehensive equipment checklist
